OUR STORY
Specializing in high-end residential design, Vanessa Nunley draws on experience as an Interior Designer since 1999. Whether designing customized furniture and window treatments, or custom kitchens and bathrooms, Vanessa embraces the Art of Making a Home; creating spaces that are gracious, elegant, beautifully appointed, and comfortable.
When Vanessa’s grown children, and the children of her clients, moved into apartments of their own, she developed design plans, measured their units, and created customized furniture layouts, so their living spaces would be maximized. With the benefit of knowing exactly what size furniture pieces would fit into the spaces, furniture shopping became easier. Vanessa was able to hand select furnishings to create highly styled, thoughtfully designed, spaces.
With a desire to make beautiful designs available to everyone, drawing on her experience in custom residential design, and creating furniture layouts, Dwellings Defined was born. Vanessa has partnered with her daughter, Amanda Nunley, to create customized floorplans for each style unit in apartment buildings, and curate a stylish collection of furniture pieces to fit perfectly, for purchase from Dwellings Defined.
